Our Mission

1.   To provide quality education in the major engineering disciplines for the undergraduate through creative                 balance of academic, professional, and extracurricular programs.
2.   To generate new knowledge in engineering and related fields and to equip students as future leaders and             responsible citizens in these fields for the betterment of individuals and society.
3.   To be a major contributor to our nation`s technology base in the field of technical education.

About College

Government Engineering College, Dahod was established in June 2004. It falls directly under Commissionerate of Technical Education, Education Department - Government of Gujarat. Government Engineering College Dahod is approved by AICTE and affiliated to Gujarat Technological University (GTU). The total built up area of college is 17 acres which also includes hostel facilities. The college campus has four academic blocks, a workshop block, a library block and an amenities block that houses canteen, sports corner and girls common room.

GEC Dahod started with the intake of 60 students each for civil, mechanical, electrical and electronics and communication department. The intake for civil, mechanical and electrical branches has doubled today making it 120 students intake for each. The intake is 60 students each for EC and Computer Engineering department. Civil and Mechanical departments also run Post Graduate programs affiliated to GTU each with intake of 18 students.
